I would not call this great work by the police department, who did the bare minimum they could. I'd call this great work by his victims in pushing a disinterested police department into doing their jobs.

Motorists and residents of south philadelphia should not have to be inconvenienced. Nor should a state highway be detoured from end to end without permissible access to the west side of the city.

Looking forward to the enforcement of these laws. Just planted about 250.00 dollars worth of shrubs and flowers. Repaired the damage from basketballs and children running amok tonight. If the mayor wants to retain a tax base in this city quality of life issues should be addressed. There doesn't seem to be any parenting going on.

I see no attempt by police to catch or stop these illegal riders. they hang in the same spot, easy to nab. just a little effort. don't have to chase with car. they sit at corner of 23rd & Dickinson, race up the sidewalks, even.

Last year I tried to install a dome camera for the neighborhood on 6600 Lynford street and They called the cops on me. When I tried to tell the officers what I was attempting to do they said I couldn't. Everyone has cameras on telephone poles but when I tried to install one, I was rejected.

The laws are only as good as we make them. If you are having an issue, get your kids off the street, and write down which cops didn't do there job, and report them. If the kids on your block have that much energy with nothing to do, get an youth organization together. Stop pointing fingers, and start lifting a hand to make it better. How many parents are in this city?? How many cops??

This is like blaming the trash men for the dirt in the city.. They didn't put it here.

My nephew was shot and killed about 5 years ago , case was never solved dont know if it will be ever be solved, his name was john hightower.
